The Challenge

The courts had no power source nearby, making traditional wired lighting costly and impractical. Solar quickly became the ideal solution. By using high-performance solar LED fixtures, we were able to deliver reliable, energy-efficient lighting without trenching, wiring, or disrupting the park grounds.

Project Results

In total, six solar lights were installed to evenly illuminate the courts, extending playtime well into the evening. The new lighting not only enhances safety and visibility but also operates completely off-grid — using zero electricity.

Community Impact

Players have already shared how much they appreciate the brighter courts and the ability to play longer without worrying about daylight hours. The project is another example of how solar lighting is helping Texas communities enjoy their public spaces sustainably and affordably.
