Parks That Finally Work After Dark

Parks without lighting sit empty after sunset, leaving residents without usable green space during evening hours. Solar park lighting in Houston gives communities access to their parks after dark without the cost and disruption of running electrical infrastructure to each site.

180 Poles Across Five Houston Parks

Five Houston area parks with no existing lighting needed a solution that worked without access to the electrical grid. Spark Lighting installed 180 solar LED poles across all five locations, handling fixture selection, placement, and installation with licensed electricians and no subcontracting.

• Site assessment and solar fixture placement across five parks
• 180 solar LED pole installation
• Self-contained fixture setup with no grid connection
• In-house installation by licensed electricians
• Post-installation testing and commissioning

No Trenching No Wiring No Energy Bills

Traditional park lighting requires electrical trenching, conduit runs, and a permanent connection to the grid. Solar LED fixtures eliminate all of that. Each pole generates and stores its own power, which means no site disruption during installation and no utility bill once the lights are on.

Parks That Residents Actually Use at Night

Before the installation, these five Houston parks sat unused after dark. Solar lighting changes that by giving residents safe, well-lit spaces for evening walks, recreation, and community gatherings. The investment pays off in community engagement, not just energy savings.

A Green Solution That Runs on Its Own

Solar LED fixtures operate independently from the power grid, which means they keep running even when surrounding areas experience outages. For a park serving a neighborhood, that reliability makes the space dependable every night regardless of what happens on the grid.
